THE BIOMAĒ QUALITY STANDARD
A strain is not
defined by its count.
It's defined by
what it can do.
Every formula in the Biomaē line begins with a single question: has this strain been characterized? Not counted — characterized. We don't formulate from commodity blends. We select from documented strains with published colonization data.
01
Characterization
Each strain is selected for a documented colonization site and a measurable functional outcome. No strain enters the formula without peer-reviewed evidence for its behaviour in the human gut.
02
Verification
Every batch is third-party tested before it reaches you. NSF Certified for Sport. GMP Certified facility. CFU count verified at time of manufacture — not production. Full COA available on request.
03
Traceability
We publish the strain designations — not just genus and species. NCFM, GG, 299v, BB536. Names that trace back to specific clinical research, not proprietary blend anonymity.
01 / CHARACTERIZATION
12 strains. 12 colonization sites. One coordinated protocol.
Most probiotic formulas are assembled by CFU count. Ours are assembled by function. Each of the 12 strains in Biomaē+ Daily occupies a distinct niche in the gut ecosystem — upper intestine, lower intestine, mucosal layer, transit microbiome. Together they cover the full terrain.
This is what we mean by characterized: a strain that has been grown, studied, and published with a documented identity and a documented address in the body.
"A colonization address is not a marketing claim. It is a coordinate."

02 / VERIFICATION
CERTIFICATION
NSF Certified for Sport
Third-party tested for label accuracy, contamination, and prohibited substances. The NSF mark means an independent organization verified what's on the label is in the bottle — nothing more, nothing less.
Batch testing: every production run
Identity, potency, purity verification
Prohibited substance screening
CERTIFICATION
GMP Certified Facility
Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice certified facility. This means documented processes, trained staff, equipment maintenance, and audit trails — at every step between raw material and finished product.
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
FDA-registered facility
Internal + third-party audits
Full COA available for any current batch. Email standard@biomae.com
03 / DELIVERY TECHNOLOGY
The capsule is part of the formula.
Acid-resistant delayed-release capsule technology. Not every strain survives stomach acid — ours don't need to. The capsule is designed to bypass the gastric environment and release in the intestine, where the strains are documented to colonize.
Ambient shelf stability. No refrigeration required — formulated for the way people actually live.
HPMC
Capsule material — acid-resistant, vegan
30°C
Stability tested to — ambient temperature
24m
Shelf life — from manufacture
"We don't ask you to trust us. We ask you to read the label."
